Register on OpenAI via SMS

OpenAI / ChatGPT phone verification with a virtual number
OpenAI asks for a phone number to activate new accounts — for API access, and in many regions for ChatGPT itself. The catch: OpenAI actively blocks VoIP and «virtual operator» ranges, responding with «This phone number is not supported». The numbers on Get-SMS come from real mobile operators, which is exactly why OpenAI verification is one of our most popular services.
The process takes a minute: request the code on the OpenAI signup page, enter the number, receive the 6-digit SMS in your dashboard. If a particular number is rejected, cancel it free of charge and take another — pools rotate constantly, and a second attempt from a different country almost always passes.
What to know before verifying OpenAI
OpenAI historically allows only a small number of accounts per phone number (two to three), and the free API trial credit is granted per number, not per email — a number that was already used for a trial won't bring new credit. If your goal is API trial credits, mention it to yourself when choosing: a cheap heavily-used pool may verify fine but give no bonus. Angola, Spain, Sweden and Thailand numbers have the best acceptance rate. The phone country does not restrict which OpenAI services you can use afterwards — it is only checked once at signup.
One more nuance: OpenAI sends the code from different sender IDs depending on the region, and delivery sometimes takes two or three minutes. Don't request a new code immediately — rapid repeat requests are how numbers end up temporarily rate-limited on OpenAI's side. Request once, wait, and the code arrives well within the 20-minute activation window.
